For those in search of a solution to generate modern and secure Tesla API authentication tokens, a new tool is now available.
Building upon the proven implementation of the Watch app for Tesla, this application offers the ability to maintain existing custom shortcuts by transitioning to a new token mechanism provided by the Shortcut actions within the app.
Moreover, it includes convenient clipboard functionality for easy access to tokens post login, facilitating the process of signing into various third-party platforms.
The application's source code is openly accessible on <a href="https://github.com/TeslaBuds/AuthAppForTesla">GitHub</a>, ensuring transparency and allowing users to review and validate its security measures.
At no juncture during operation does the developer obtain any user information - credentials are directly transmitted to Tesla utilizing the in-app browser, with generated tokens securely encrypted within the iOS Keyvault.
